It’s time to test your fitness, take on Zagreb’s Sava embankment, and become part of an exceptional sporting story. We invite all adult runners and active lifestyle enthusiasts to join the RUN4FH 2026 race, combining competitive spirit, outstanding energy, and a strong focus on health promotion.
The race will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, with the start and finish located on the Sava embankment near the Boćarski Dom in Zagreb. Participants can look forward to a fast and exciting 5-kilometre race along the Sava River, while a DJ and live music programme before, during, and after the race will ensure a fantastic atmosphere and great energy throughout the event.
Cash prizes have also been secured for the fastest competitors – the male and female race winners (first place in the men's and women's categories) will each win 100 euros!
Organizers: This sporting event is proudly organized by the Croatian League Against Hypertension (HLH), the Croatian Atherosclerosis Society, and Run Croatia, with the aim of raising awareness of Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) and promoting healthy lifestyle habits and physical activity.

CANCELLATION / WITHDRAWAL
If participants who have paid the entry fee do not take part in the race, the entry fee cannot be refunded.
Participants who withdraw from the race may transfer their race bib and corresponding starter pack to another registered participant no later than 2 days before the race.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
- By registering for the race, each participant expressly agrees to participate at their own responsibility (with medical assistance and police security), confirms that they are familiar with and agree to comply with the race rules and regulations, and acknowledges the possible risks associated with this competition.
- By registering, the participant waives the right to transfer liability to the race organizer, whether in relation to other participants or third parties.
- By registering, the participant confirms that they are medically fit and in appropriate physical and mental condition for this type of competition.
- We hereby inform you that the event in which you are participating is being recorded and that recordings and photographs from the event may be used for marketing purposes to promote the event organizer. The recordings and photographs may also be published in print or electronic media and/or on the organizer’s social media channels.

5 KM RACE COURSE

The 5-kilometre course follows an attractive loop along the Sava River. After starting near the Boćarski Dom, runners cross the Jadranski Bridge and continue along the southern bank of the river towards the Most slobode. They then return along the northern side of the embankment towards the finish line.
